I'm almost embarassed to ask this. But has anyone ever used thye old Galoob Micro Machines in their wargaming? Yes, the detail quality is low, but they could do in a pinch for aircraft and helos, I am thinking, since these vehicles play something of a perhipheral role on the battlefield in CWC. I figure the scale doesn't have to be perfect for aircraft. Anyone try this? Did it work all right for you?

HOW DARE YOU!!!

Smile

I always look in the toy sections at every store I go to, does that count? Never used micro machines (except for space-based gaming) but I have some matchboxes for AK47 Smile

Likewise - some civi vehicles from local cheap stores, which fit 15mm. Gave me 4 M35, 4 Hughes 500, and 4 6x6 armoured cars for sci-fi etc.

Hi Zephyr40K,

I use some of the Micro Machines to fit with 12mm Minifigs & 1/144 Trumpeter/Takara. The M88A1 American ARV is great and a good scale fit, also the M551 sheridan fits with this scale. The MIM-72A Chaparral ADV is a little on the large side but still usable & the M1&M60 are a little too small.
Hope this helps. Wink
