I received an order of moden Chinese today from Armstrong Models and was very impressed with the detail on the figures and the quality of the castings. At the moment the range is limited to one MBT and IFV but a second tank and IFV should be out soon - with more to follow. A lack of modern PLA minis has been a real gap in 6mm gaming so it's great to see this quality range. Well worth a look.

Both Scotia and Skytrex do 6mm PLA havent seem them in the flesh but have been toying with buying some to recreate the down under thread of Chinese /American war.

I owned a number of vehicles from the 6mm GHQ line of Red Chinese...lots of good stuff, but as usual a bit pricey.

Yes been keeping a watchful eye on these. The Scotia models I have are lovely especially when painted, so the new Armstrong models are very much welcomed.

Scotia has a great PLA range, I have a very large number of them and would recommended them. Unfortunately, as has been noted, their range stops in the early 80s so the Armstrong minis make a perfect complement to the Scotia range.
