I'm thinking of using Pendraken Ardennes Paras for US/UN units for the Korean War. Any other suggestions?

I'm also wondering about what to use for the Chinese? First thouhts are the Russians in winter gear. Do the Pendraken figures have furry hats or helmets?

Cheers

Mix of both Jim - although if you asked Dave nicely I'm sure he'd sort you a load with just furry hats...

Have a look at the Vietnam range too - there are probably some useful figures in there as well [VM in quilted jackets etc]

Thanks Nick,

I hadn't thought of the VM even though I have a shedload of them in a box.

Good idea Grin

Greatcoats wouldnt be right, the Chinese seem to have used padded snow suits.

Hi

You`d have to do a head swap those viet minh helmets won`t do for korea. I`d love to do korea but i`m going to wait until someone brings the figures out which maybe never.

I think you could get away with some judicious trimming / filing of the VM helmets in 10mm rather than having to do a headswap.

Any thoughts to how the Chinese and Koreans might be managed in 6mm? For the UN troops I was just going to use WW2 figures.
